We are recruiting a motivated candidate (Predoctoral researcher, PhD candidate) at the Achucarro Basque Center for Neuroscience. The candidate will use mouse models and human iPSC derived cells together with imaging, transcriptomic and epigenetic methods to identify the mechanisms immune memory to  early inflammatory events in conjunction with AD risk genes. The position will start in early 2027.

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary and highly collaborative environment within the Glial Cell Biology Lab and will benefit from access to frontline technical resources, under the supervision of the Principal Investigator of the project Dr. Amanda Sierra.

Elegibility
- High academic record (>8)
- Merits:
- Master’s degree in Neuroscience, Molecular Biology or any related field
- High level in Basque
- Fluency in written and spoken English
