Neuroscience Day
Neuroscience Day is an initiative of the academic and research community working on neurosciences at campus of Leioa of the EHU.
This event is organised and supported by the Faculty of Medicine and Nursing and ACHUCARRO, and sponsored by relevant organisations in our environment.
To showcase the Research in Neuroscience that is carried out at the Leioa Campus, strengthen the link between the different institutions, and attract junior and senior researchers, we are organizing the Neuroscience Day 2026 at Leioa on October 7th from 11:00 to 13:30.Â
We expect attendance by undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students, as well as possible researchers from other areas who want to collaborate.Â
The activity will consist on poster presentations by Neuroscience researchers working in Leioa (11:00-12:30) and a discussion about the “Life in the Lab”, with the experience of early stage researchers (12:30-13:30).Â
A small snack will also be offered.
The Department of Education of the Basque Government in collaboration with the Basque Agency for Innovation, Innobasque, awarded the recognition “STEAM Euskadi initiative” to Neuroscience Day in 2023 as supporter of knowledge of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics in connection with the Arts and Humanities.
