Postdoctoral position (R2,R3) in in vivo electrophysiology and behavioral neuroscience
The research groups of Dr. Edgar Soria-Gómez, Dr. Ignacio Torres-Alemán and Joaquin Piriz are seeking for one postdoctoral researcher (R2,R3) with experience in in vivo electrophysiology and behavioral neuroscience. The postdoctoral fellow will be in charge of behavioral experiments combined with electrophysiological recordings (i.e., tetrodes, silicon probes) in mice to study cortical circuits and sensory processing. This study is part of a collaborative project coordinated by IKERLAN S.COOP. The aim of the study is create neuromorphic models using biological data.

The selected candidate will be required to work in the headquarters of ACHUCARRO in Leioa, and in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of the Basque Country in the same campus. The candidate should be skilled in both animal experimentation and data analysis.
Contract
This contract will be funded by the ELKARTEK (Project SiliconBurmuin) of the Basque Government and has a duration of 1 year. The gross annual salary will be 30.300 euros.

Elegibility
We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher with experience in in vivo electrophysiologyl, behavioral neuroscience, stereotaxical procedures, and data analysis, with official qualification for animal experimentation ("B" and "C" certifications).
