We participate in Euskampus Bordeaux Eguna 2026: Strengthening Cross-Border Neuroscience Collaboration

20 Oct 2026
Representing the Cross-Border Cooperation Laboratory (LTC CoMorPD), ACHUCARRO researchers gathered in Irún on October 15–16 to share breakthroughs, foster interdisciplinary connections, and advance regional healthcare research under the motto "Weaving Bridges".

Researchers from the ACHUCARRO actively participated in Euskampus Bordeaux Eguna 2026, the flagship annual gathering celebrating the Cross-Border Campus driven by the University of the Basque Country (EHU), the Université de Bordeaux, Tecnalia, and the Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC).

Held on October 15 and 16 in Irún—a symbolic crossroads on the banks of the Bidasoa River—this year’s edition revolved around the theme “Tejiendo Puentes” (Weaving Bridges). The event highlighted initiatives that transcend geographical, linguistic, and disciplinary boundaries to address major scientific and societal challenges in the Atlantic Macroregion.

The Laboratorio Transfronterizo de Cooperación CoMorPD (LTC CoMorPD) showcased its ongoing joint initiatives and scientific contributions aimed at understanding and addressing complex neurological conditions.

Throughout the two-day meeting, participants explored progress across the network of Cross-Border Cooperation Laboratories (LTCs), joint PhD co-tutelles, pedagogical innovation, and internationalization efforts supported by the ENLIGHT European University Alliance.
