About me

Dr. Martín-Suarez received her PhD diploma in 2018 for a thesis about «How aging, seizures and atp change the intrinsic properties of adult hippocampal neural stem cells» at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). She then moved to BioCruces Bizkaia HRI for a postdoctoral stay with a Juan de la Cierva fellowship.

In 2022 she returned to ACHUCARRO for another postdoc, in this case an IKUR Postdoctoral research fellow in the NeuroBiosciences axis of this strategy. As from December 2022 she is a Ramón y Cajal (2021) fellow.
