The Basque Excellence Research Centres (BERC), such as ACHUCARRO, are renewing their scientific and organizational strategy for the next four years, under the BERC programme of the Basque Government
Throughout 2025, we carried out various analyses and activities to develop this new strategy, including the visit of our international scientific advisory committee (ISAC).
Although we are still finalizing details and preparing the proposal to be submitted to the Basque Government, we have updated the main guidelines that will be subject to their evaluation. These guidelines are the result of all the work we have been doing since 2012, across the different strategic periods we have already completed.
